As
the doors opened at Sands Expo in Las Vegas for the second annual meetings tradeshow IMEX
America, its show organiser claimed the exhibition would be 28 per cent
bigger than the inaugural event in 2011.
Over 2,000 hosted buyers are expected to join a further 1,800 attendees at the trade show, as well as 2,000 exhibitors.
This
year there are 77 new stands. Space taken by ican and Middle Eastern
exhibitors has grown 49 per cent, the organiser claims, with Asian
representation up 29 per cent.
European exhibitors are occupying 14 per cent more space than in 2011.
