A new event space in London’s Covent Garden, Icetank Studios, is launching to the corporate market tomorrow evening (26 October).
Off Shaftesbury Avenue in London’s West End, the 2,500sqm Icetank features event space for up to 80 delegates standing, between 40-50 people theatre-style and up to 48 seated on round tables for dinners and conferences.
The venue was initially designed for TV food shows and film productions with 1.8m ceilings and large wall-to-floor glass windows with a 1.8m skylight. There is acoustic glass in all windows for complete soundproofing with blackout electric blinds.
Other amenities include producers’ dedicated desk space that is positioned on the mezzanine gallery overlooking the studio, Wi-Fi, stereo system, flat screen TV and a fireplace. The 92sqm basement studio includes a changing and make-up room, two bathrooms as well as kitchen facilities.
Icetank is hosting a launch party with its partners including Purple Grape, Creative Spaces by Design and Hire the Barman. BoothNation are providing a photo booth so all guests will have a personalised memento of the night.
