ICC Belfast has appointed Ross Moffett as sales director.
Moffett has over 15 years of sales experience across energy, management, automotive and finance sectors as well as being a board member of the British and Irish Trading Alliance (BITA NI).
Moffett said: “It’s an exciting time to take up this role, as Belfast grows in its role as a dynamic, attractive, and highly competitive city for conferencing. The ICC Belfast team is setting the standard for business tourism and I’m looking forward to sharing their sense of pride and purpose with international associations and conference planners.”
Acting chief executive of ICC Belfast, Iain Bell, said: “With his experience and expertise, Ross will play an instrumental role in showcasing all that Belfast and Northern Ireland has to offer to a growing number of business, convention and association visitors from across the world.”
Since ICC Belfast’s £29.5m transformation into Northern Ireland’s only purpose-built international convention centre, the venue has grown in its role of attracting international visitors, with a target of £209m in direct economic impact by 2030.
In the last 12 months, ICC Belfast has proudly hosted premier events including the One Young World Summit, CYBERUK and UKSPACE.
