A luxury hotel is open for business following a fire in its kitchen.
Two fire crews tackled the blaze at Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, in East Street, West Sussex.
The hotel was evacuated after firefighters confirmed smoke was billowing from the hotel kitchen.
A fire service spokesman said: “It’s confirmed it’s a fire in the kitchen basement.”
A spokeswoman for the hotel said that no damage had been cause to the property’s six corporate rooms and suites.
