Host City, an exhibition and conference dedicated to sports, business and cultural events, has announced it will take place on 26-27 November at the Technology and Innovation Centre, Glasgow.

At the event, representatives from host destinations, federations, organisers, event suppliers and services will discuss the challenges of event hosting.

Topics on the agenda will include:

• New paradigms of rights holders

• Cities and brands working together to create events

• Leadership and responsibility for the sustainability of major events

• Fan engagement and audience experience

• Gender equality

• Good governance and development

• A wake-up call for event infrastructure

• Destination showcases and major event case studies
