Balgownie Lodge, a 19th century mansion located in the Aberdeen Innovation Park in Bridge of Don, Scotland, has undergone a refurbishment by Buccleuch Property and Scottish Enterprise.
The restoration of the historic building is part of a £2m investment project across Aberdeen Energy & Innovation Parks in a joint venture by Buccleuch Property and Scottish Enterprise to manage the parks.
The mansion aims to offer corporate events, conference and hospitality across a range of high quality facilities. It can cater for large or small events, including seminars, presentations, corporate meetings, drinks receptions and formal dining for up to 210 guests. There is additional space for up to 300 guests in a marquee on the lawns to the side of the lodge.
Cameron MacKay, Associate Director at Buccleuch Property said: “Few places in Aberdeen offer the full spectrum of corporate facilities in such attractive surroundings as Balgownie Lodge. The historic building provides a spectacular backdrop for both business and private occasions.
“This quality venue is a valuable asset, not just for the 90 businesses located on the business parks, but across the region and beyond.”
