GroundScope, a global transport service for corporate customers, has announced that it has been chosen as an ELITE ‘Future Shaper’ by the London Stock Exchange Group, a programme which supports fast-growing companies.
This shortly follows the news of Uber having its London operating licence revoked by Transport for London (TfL) due to safety risks on 25 November.
As one of the 50 ‘Future Shapers’, GroundScope has been acknowledged for disrupting its respective markets and growing financially.
GroundScope aims to provide a safe, reliable and cost-effective global service which can be booked on mobile and online. It also ensures clients’ data is held in a high-secure data centre.
This year, GroundScope has invested £3m into its technology and has released a new mobile app which aims to make the booking process simpler for on the go customers.
The company plans to expand its service to new direct corporate clients alongside travel management companies and travel partners. It is also developing a new online booking tool to launch in 2020.
John McCallion, CEO and founder, GroundScope, said: “We are honoured to be selected by the ELITE community as one of its ‘Future Shapers’ and to be listed alongside a variety of high-level game changing companies across different industries.
“When we started the company in 2009, the goal was to give business travellers a structured and safe way to move around whether at home or abroad, and to provide a global booking service that is both reliable and easy to use.
“We are now planning to take GroundScope’s technology and customer service even further, and exchange learnings and advice with other entrepreneurs and companies in the programme.”
McCallion concludes: “I think it’s that little bit extra that we put into the service, from added client security to enhanced technology, that has won us recognition with not only ELITE but our growing customer base.”
“We are very proud to be part of such a knowledgeable and supportive network of people and are confident that GroundScope will continue to succeed in making clients’ journeys safe, happy and stress free.”
