Following a two-way pitch, Grass Roots Meetings & Events has retained its Chivas Brothers major employee event account.
Managing Director of the agency’s ‘Live’ division, Charles Moyle, will take the lead in delivering the 2013 event, to be held at two locations in Scotland (Glasgow SECC and the Glenlivet Distillery) for around 1,600 Chivas Brothers employees.
Chivas Brothers produces, exports and markets some of the most famous Scotch whisky and premium gins, including Chivas Regal, Ballantine’s, Beefeater Gin, The Glenlivet and Royal Salute.
Grass Roots Meetings & Events has been delivering high impact internal communications, conferences and events for Chivas Brothers for five years.
Moyle’s Worcester-based division will work in partnership with Creative Producer Nigel Lloyd-Jones, Executive Producer Elsa Ford and Creative Director Nick Harvey, to produce a new refreshed format for the show.
Moyle says he is delighted to have retained the business: “We are huge fans of Chivas Brothers and really value our partnership with them. We’ve created a concept for these events that we are all proud of and we’re eager to now get it executed.”
Suzanne Roach, Internal Communications Manager for Chivas Brothers, said: “We are delighted to be working with the Grass Roots team again this year. We needed to refresh the format for the event and, having partnered with us for the last five years, this was a bit of a challenge for Grass Roots. They exceeded our expectations and came up with something fresh and inspirational.”
