Agency Grass Roots’ events and communications division is to open a new London office as part of its expansion programme.
The new 9,500sqm Putney office will host the agency’s venue sourcing team. This follows Grass Roots’ recent opening of strategic meetings management offices in New York and Singapore. Further international locations are expected to follow.
Chairman and CEO of Grass Roots, David Evans, helped celebrate the opening of the London office with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“We wanted to stay in south-west London (original office was in Clapham) as it allows us easy access to many of our city-based clients,” said MD for Strategic Meetings Management, Des Mclaughlin. “Finding the ‘right’ premises for the expansion was important to us, and we are delighted with the result.
“The team are certainly enjoying their new home and our new facilities will allow for our on-going expansion.”
Grass Roots, which has an annual turnover of £45.4m and places over £200m in meetings spend per annum, has UK offices in Marlow, Fleet, Worcester, London.
