Loughborough-based imago is one of the first UK businesses to be filmed for Google’s new ’business photos’ feature.
Expanding on its current ’street view’ mode, Google will offer 360-degree tours inside a number of businesses and venues.
Imago say that The Link hotel and four-star conference centre Burleigh Court were the first venues in Leicestershire to be visited by Google, and follow Altitude 360 who was the first London venue to use Google’s new service.
“It’s exciting to be involved in Google’s latest innovation at such an early stage,” says Head of Marketing and Sales at imago, Emma Boynton. “The internet has become an important tool for searching and selecting venues in the hotel and conference industry and I’m sure that the added option of seeing inside the venue will assist potential clients in finding the perfect setting for their event.”
