Le Chalet, a new luxury venue located in the Chamonix valley, has been confirmed as the venue for Conference News’ Global Events Summit, taking place from 27 March to 4 April 2020.
The venue has been nominated for the Best New Ski Chalet Award at the 2019 World Ski Awards. The 12-bedroom property officially opened its doors in December 2018.
The 306sqm Le Chalet is located in one hectare (2.5 acres) of land and offers uninterupted views of Mont Blanc, with the owner saying the balconies boast the longest hours of sun in the Chamonix Valley.
It comes with a cinema, sauna, gym, indoor swimming pool and a helipad.
Located one hour from Geneva Airport, the region is considered one of Europe’s best ski areas, with neighbouring towns Megeve, Verbier and Courmayeur close by.
Le Chalet’s directeur general Martin Bromley said: “We’re incredibly proud to be nominated in such a competitive category, we believe that Le Chalet has set a new standard for premium properties for both Corporate and family retreats. It’s fantastic to see that our industry colleagues agree with us.”
The awards will take place in Kitzbuhel, Austria in November, where Le Chalet will be up against entries from France, Austria, Switzerland and Canada to be crowned the World’s Best New Ski Chalet 2019.
