The first Scottish Business Expo, taking place this May, invites delegates to walk the red carpet Oscars-style and be celebrities for the night.
The event, which takes place on 4-5 May, includes a formal gala dinner with a red carpet and the chance for delegates to share their business stories on stage.
Hosted by business growth experts Lodestone Lounge, the inaugural Scottish Business Expo promises to “break the mould” in terms of business networking. With the slogan ‘More than just networking’ it will host eight inspirational speakers and offers a packed programme of learning over two days.
The red carpet experience is being run by Radio W.O.R.K.S., a coaching and mentoring programme for entrepreneurs, which will film the whole event.
Wendy Sneddon, founder of Lodestone Lounge and an expert in business and leadership coaching, said: “Our aim is to break the mould with the Scottish Business Expo. We want to shake up the traditional business networking model and make things fun and creative, as well as challenging and a learning experience. The red carpet experience at the gala event is an important part of that. It’s about helping people be recognised and be heard as business people and entrepreneurs.”
