Following the recent launch of the sustainability-driven Better Stands initiative, GES continues to work hand in hand with the project with a particular focus on its sustainable Show Ready product.

GES was delighted to be one of the first premium partners of the Better Stands scheme, which has been driven by media company, Informa.

The programme aims to unite and encourage exhibitors, along with their appointed contractors to move away from disposable, single-use stands at events in favour of reusable or recyclable structures.

Creating sustainable solutions has long been part of GES’ ethosevidenced by the introduction of products such as its cost-effective, re-useable modular service, Show Ready. Show Ready is among the most sustainable options for exhibitors, with all elements of the stand either reused or recycled after use and therefore diverted from landfill.

GES EMEA has also published its Roadmap to Net Zero, unveiling its clear pathway to achieving Net Zero by 2050. As well as looking forward, the report highlights the progress the business has made and the initiatives it has implemented, such as removing emissions-intensive materials from its portfolio and replacing them with sustainable alternatives.

“We have been a proud partner of this initiative since its inception and look forward to watching it shape change within our industry. Show Ready continues to play an integral role in our ESG programme and we’re excited to see the way in which it is supporting clients’ sustainability choices,” said Natalie Wing, commercial director, GES EMEA Exhibitions.

Since the launch of Show Ready in 2018, GES has delivered around 2.5k Show Ready Exhibitor Packages with more than 450 supplied this year so far – demonstrating a clear appetite for re-usable solutions.
