Key decision makers from the London borough of Croydon are to meet to debate the future of the town.
Paul Finch, Vice Chairman of the Design Council, will chair the event to take place at Fairfield Halls on 27 November. Headline Speaker at the event is Kit Malthouse, the London Deputy Mayor for Business and Enterprise. A wide range of other speakers will represent both the public and private sector and among those represented on panel discussions will be Hammerson and Westfield, the two companies vying to take over the town’s Whitgift Centre, a shopping and leisure complex. There will also be the opportunity for delegates to put their questions to key decision makers and stakeholders at the Croydon Question Time debate.
The Develop Croydon Conference is a private-sector led and funded initiative organised by Develop Croydon, a joint venture between Croydon-based marketing and events company White Label Consultants, and regeneration events and publishing specialists 3Fox International.
Develop Croydon works in partnership with the London Borough of Croydon and Develop Croydon Forum, a group of businesses formed by the borough’s most influential key stakeholders with the aim of promoting Croydon as a place to invest, work and live.
