Fusion-Events, organiser of automotive live brand experiences, has been appointed by Renault UK to run 16 weekend test drive events, lasting from June through to October. 

The programme, ‘Its time to switch. Renault Z.E. Test Drive Tour 2012’, will be rolled out at city centres and venues throughout the country.

‘Z.E.’ stands for zero emissions and the tour will showcase Renault’s range of zero emission electric vehicles, including the Fluence Z.E., Twizy, and Kangoo Van Z.E.

MD Fusion-Events, Geoff Mason, said: “Our programme has been designed to educate attendees at our events on the unique selling points of the Renault Z.E. range and clearly demonstrate the advanced thinking behind therange offer.

“Electric vehicles are no longer a technology of the future but a technology for today and we will demonstrate to prospects that driving an electric vehicle is easy, economical and will suit many different lifestyles.”

The tour will call at 16 locations, each event lasting for three days, covering a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, held within close proximity to Renault Z.E. dealers, Plugged-In Places charging infrastructure and identified centres for electric vehicle demand.
