Full-service creative communications agency The Fresh Group broadened its public sector and live event experience with the delivery of the Ceremonies and Special Events programme at The Skills Show, which took place The NEC Birmingham in November and attracted 70,000 visitors.

With eight events spanning over four days, Fresh used every division of their full-service offering to deliver the creative concept, technical production, event logistics, artistic management, video production, digital offering and content management for the Show. In addition to the Opening and Closing ceremonies, which attracted 3,000 guests each, Fresh was also responsible for a number of smaller events, including a welcome dinner, awards ceremony and finale.

“We were thrilled to be appointed to deliver such an important project as The Skills Show, which in the current climate is more relevant than ever,” says MD of The Fresh Group, Patrick Howells. “From pitch to delivery, this has been a truly-integrated project for us, with every division within fresh being involved in some way.”
