The new wins include significant organisations in APAC, EMEA, and the USA, all contracting BCD M&E across multiple markets.

BCD M&E runs a Life Sciences Centre of Excellence (LSCOE) as part of its strategy to be a differentiator in the industry.

Hannah Kelly (pictured), vice-president meetings management, said: “Our expansion of the LSCOE demonstrates BCD M&E’s commitment toward continuous improvement, innovation and optimisation across Life Sciences.”

Kelly added that the BCD team’s focus centered around “benchmarking, education and delivering best practice and innovation to the benefit of the client”.

“Clients have been incredibly receptive to this approach and this is paying off with these new wins as well as the gaining of more territories from existing clients, our teams have expanded as well and we now boast 690 people in our Life Sciences teams globally,” Kelly said.

She also noted the successful integration of Grass Roots Meetings & Events into the business, saying it was “something that is proving very attractive to new prospects. This expansion has also created fantastic opportunities and we’re currently looking to fill a number of roles in the UK and EMEA with specialists, so please get in touch of you would like to learn more”.

The announcement follows the recent news announcing that BCD M&E had increased its EMEA team by over 500% in the past two years following strong business growth and acquisitions.
