Event technology business SmartXpo has appointed Nik Rudge as chairman. Nik has 25 years’ experience in the events industry, with roles including divisional MD positions at UBM and global operations director at ITE.
Commenting on his appointment, Rudge said: “I have been following SmartXpo’s innovative and practical approach to data and analytics with great interest over the past year and am delighted to be joining such a high-quality team. I firmly believe that the business will quickly emerge as a leader in the tech and data revolution that the global exhibitions industry is set to undergo.”
