Former Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) Founding Directors Paul Vincent and Sue Howarth have joined
forces to form a new events consultancy in the UK.
The
forecaster and marketing agency, ExpoEye, brings the pair together for
the first time since working together in Abu Dhabi at the ADNEC. They previously spent 10 years as MD and Key Account Director respectively at the NEC Group in Birmingham.
ExpoEye
will offer their expertise to customers primarily in the UK and aims to
help them make fully-informed decisions about their events.
“Our
experience and knowledge of the industry puts us in a unique position
to be able to help our customers,” said Howarth. “We work with CEOs who
want to learn more about the possibilities of a new region, with event directors who need to understand what is likely to happen
with their event, and with MDs looking to understand more about their
return on investment.
“We also work with venues and their
stakeholders across a range of requirements, such as a general health
check of their events portfolio or an economic impact study.”
The
new company claims it will take many of the techniques used in Internet
search marketing and investment banking and use them in an innovative
way for the events industry. Products on offer include Voyance, a
multi-sourced research and analysis which predicts future event,
exhibition and venue permance; Foresight, an in-depth feasibility
product that includes competitor analysis; and other trend, market
intelligence, information reporting and real-time media monitoring.
Vincent
claimed innovation is at the heart of the business. “Over the last 12
months we’ve been working with senior figures within the industry to
develop a proposition which removes the element of guesswork from key
decisions and is far beyond anything currently available to organisers
or venues.
“ExpoEye uses innovation both in terms of the tools we have created and how we use them.”
