Forest Pines Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort has appointed Jamie McDonald as its new general manager.
With 35 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, McDonald’s key focus will be on training and developing teams and establishing Forest Pines as a leading resort among leisure and corporate audiences across the country.
Most recently, McDonald spent 18 months with The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort – like Forest Pines, part of the QHotels Collection.
McDonald has also been involved with higher-level HR projects across The QHotels Collection, developing a ‘future leaders’ programme.
Nestled in a serene forest in North Lincolnshire, Forest Pines Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is a premium golf resort and hotel with 188 bedrooms and an events centre. It also offers a 27-hole championship golf course.
Forest Pines offers flexible conference solutions. Its nine adaptable evening spaces can accommodate intimate gatherings to large-scale events for up to 400 people.
