Forest Green Rovers F.C. and digital marketing agency, Go Up, have extended its partnership into the new season.

The partnership is focused on sustainability and aims to help shape the future of the agency. This year, Go Up has pledged a stronger commitment to green business growth and sustainable development.

For example, the agency aims to ‘Do Good Work With Good People For Good People’. As part of this mission, the company strives to have a client base that is 100% green, planet friendly, carbon zero and socially impactful in the future.

The team’s continued partnership has also been the catalyst for Go Up’s two manifestos — a Green Manifesto and a Happiness Manifesto. These feature sustainability and wellbeing initiatives that have been designed to inspire values and behaviours aligned with Forest Green Rovers.

Sustainability values

Forest Green Rovers is considered to be one of the greenest football club’s. It’s sustainable efforts include:

1) Introducing the first organic football pitch

2) Creating football shirts made from recycled plastic and ground coffee

3) A commitment to veganism within the club

Tom Skinner, managing director, Go Up, said: “Our partnership with Forest Green Rovers is fundamental in inspiring us to become a greener agency. It means we get to support and draw inspiration from a sports and community enterprise that is visionary.”

Henry Staelens, CEO at Forest Green Rovers, added: “This partnership has all the credentials we look for at Forest Green Rovers F.C.”
