The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) has appointed First Sight Media to deliver filming services for its ABPCO Excellence Awards 2024 held at Winter Gardens, Blackpool, 12 December.
Video and streaming platform company First Sight Media will produce several soundbite videos from shortlisted candidates for the In-house PCO Award and Agency PCO Award, which will be recorded remotely. The recordings will be combined into a reel to be shown at the evening awards and multiple two-minute versions on social media in advance of the show.
The ABPCO Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate industry best practice in association and not-for-profit conferences and events. It showcases the work being undertaken in this sector and its positive impact.
Heather Lishman, association director, ABPCO, said: “This support will allow us to share the finalists’ submissions with our delegates in a uniform way, offering the audience a valuable opportunity to see the calibre of entries and learn from them.”
First Sight Media’s business development manager, Phil Platt (pictured above), said: “Being shortlisted is quite an achievement, and securing one of these prestigious awards is a mark of quality for the winner.”
