The Female Hospitality Network has announced the launch of its new online membership offering, which aims to “globally expand its community for women in hospitality, events and tourism”.

First established in 2018, The Female Hospitality Network is a platform aimed at professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers, graduates and veterans within the sectors. The network aims to “empower its members and bridge current gaps surrounding a lack of confidence in women who aspire to grow their careers, as well as acting as an international voice for females in the hospitality, events and travel sector”.

The online membership was developed following international interest generated by online events, coaching sessions and panel discussions hosted by the Female Hospitality Network during the Covid-19 pandemic.

New members will be enrolled into the Member Lounge and grated access to content and private groups including coaching videos, group goal-setting sessions and masterclasses.

Contributors to the Member Lounge include: Juliet Tripp, international events manager of Chemical Watch; Bianca Boyce, life coach and junior chamber international training director; and Louisa Rodriguez, training and development manager at Mowgli Street Food.

Alongside the international online membership, the network has established ‘live locations’ in three cities across the UK, as well as New York, USA. The network aims to launch another six ‘live locations’ over the next 18 months, in locations including Liverpool, London, Las Vegas, Washington, Los Angeles, Glasgow and Dublin.

Abbie Hart, founder of The Female Hospitality Network, said: “Covid-19 has presented many challenges for hospitality, events and travel. In the same period of time it has been recognised now more than ever there needs to be more support provided to individuals of the industries. The Members Lounge provides many levels of support personally and professionally alongside offering a community of like-minded females across the world to communicate with. Now more than ever we need to support each other.”
