The corporate athlete can now train in the facilities used by England’s football team at Perm at St George’s Park, Burton-Upon-Trent.

Perm is the permance, sports and exercise medicine and rehabilitation centre at the heart of St George’s Park, the FA’s £100m National Football Centre and, this week, the centre unveiled its range of corporate packages, including wellbeing programmes designed to help organisations improve employees’ permance.

The experiences on offer include a mini health screen, nutritional assessment and a reaction test.

The packages include tailored workshops from sports and corporate permance psychologist Jeremy Snape and tips from elite coaches. A series of challenges are designed to equip executives to perm under pressure and gain from exploring the psychology of high perming teams.

Dorian Dugmore, Director of Corporate Wellbeing at Perm, said: “It’s not just in sports that we find high-permance teams. In today’s competitive work environment people are often pushed to their limits. Employee well-being is essential to continued business growth, especially when it is estimated that illness at work costs UK employers over £10bn a year.

“We also focus on giving organisations the understandings needed to ensure their attending workforce is working to full capacity and that their minds and bodies are fired in the right way.”

St George’s Park is the training base for 24 England teams and 800 elite coaches will be trained and qualified each year at the facility.
