Farnborough International Ltd has appointed GES as official delivery partner for the new Hall 1 at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre.
The new building, set to open in 2018, will have more than 20,000sqm of event space, including 12,500sqm of exhibition space and can host up to 2,500 conference delegates theatre style. It has onsite parking for 3,500 cars.
Alongside the delivery of all core services, GES will be the venue’s partner for custom stand design and build, bespoke feature areas, 2D and 3D graphics and full AV and digital event production services. The contract extends an already strong working relationship between both companies. GES has enjoyed a 20 yearlong relationship as official supplier to the Farnborough Airshow and recently announced the renewal of its contract with the event until 2028.
