Excel London exhibition and convention centre is offering brands the opportunity to become the venue’s naming rights partner.
Excel London’s CEO Kevin Murphy said of the decision: “Alongside having its brand associated with Europe’s leading convention and exhibition centre, the partner will be able to take advantage of the venue’s uniquely flexible spaces and visitor market to activate brand experiences, educate, sell, deliver first rate hospitality and pursue direct business opportunities.
“Excel is a blank canvas where businesses can bring their brands and ideas to life via face-to-face communication to give them greater value in their relationships with their customers and potential customers. This long term deal is a unique opportunity and will be the first time in the UK a business venue has offered naming rights.”
This summer, different to many of the single purpose venues of the Olympics, Excel London was the most complex venue and versatile venue in Olympics history, hosting seven Olympic events. Almost a million spectators visited the venue this summer, which hosted seven Olympic events. A further half a million visitors are expected, when the venue plays host to six Paralympic games at the end of August.
