Excel London’s first Congress after the Olympic and Paralympic Games tenancy will be the 10th European Congress on Epileptology, the venue’s Director of Conferences and Events James Rees tells CN.

“We will welcome over 4,000 delegates from all over the world. This is a flagship medical congress in the European calendar and so we were delighted when London was chosen as the UK host city. We have seen, since opening our ICC, that London attracts 10-15 per cent more delegates and exhibitors to its congresses when held here and we look forward to this trend continuing for ECE,” says Rees.

ECE takes place 30 September to 4 October 2012 and Melville GES has been selected as the stand services contractor.

The ECE has grown in recent years and Bill Martell, Senior Event Manager at Melville GES, said his team was “looking forward to making it a smooth running event to remember”.

Melville GES is part of the GES Global Network and has offices in Coventry, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Germany, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
