Centium Software’s EventsAIR User Conference took place at the Novotel London Paddington from 30-31 August.
The conference saw new and existing users of Centium’s EventsAIR application gather to learn more about the latest generation of the event technology software, which is used at major conferences and exhibitions around the world.
The conference featured over 20 plenary sessions and workshops tailored to suit both new and existing users’ needs, under the theme ‘It’s all about the workflow’.
It also provided an opportunity for EventsAIR users to network with the Centium team, who are spread around the world.
Centium Software CEO Trevor Gardiner was confident the annual conference had achieved its purpose. He said: “We’ve doubled our attendee numbers in 2017, with delegates from 14 countries making the trip to London from Europe, the US, Canada, Africa, and Australia. The people here represent some of the biggest event organisers in the world.”
Gardiner added: “This year we have focused on the workflow. As we have added new functions to the software, we feel it is important that clients are aware of how these can improve their workflow. We’ve been through 20 workflows that an events organiser will experience, solidifying the best practices to ensure productivity.
“Version six of EventsAIR is about to released, and it is unique because has been built predominantly on customer feedback, and represents $1m of investment. It is packed full of innovative technology which events organisers will really find enhances the user experience.”
A workshop ran on the last day of the conference that saw new and existing EventsAIR users work together in teams to build a mock event using the technology, with the winning team awarded medals.
Centium Software worked on the London Olympics 2012 and with the G20 Summit, as well as boasting high calibre clients including Kuoni, Kenes Group, and MCI.
