Those working in events are being encouraged to take part in a survey which will shape a report on the future landscape of events which serve the industry.
The Events Events Report 2021 is an independent research project which has been launched by Juliet Tripp, deputy head of global events at Chemical Watch and industry speaker, strategist and coach for the industry. Tripp was also a member of the CN30 under Thirty in 2019.
The report will analyse what people would like to see at events for the events industry.
“This isn’t about event trends in general, but specifically what we’d like to see at our own events,” said Tripp.
“With 2020 flipping everything upside down there are opportunities to reinvent what our industry events look and feel like, such as the hosted buyer model, the hybrid/live mix, the educational topics, the opportunities to network and more.”
Tripp added that she felt it was important work to undertake after several conversations with peers. “Attending industry events, offline and online, as an attendee or speaker is something I’ve always loved to do, and with 2020 seeing the world of events flipped upside down I’ve opened a conversation among industry peers and key ‘event-fluencers’ on what’s next for our ‘events events’ in 2021,” she said.
The deadline is 5 February.
