Midland-based meetings and event industry professionals were out in force on 10 December as Eventia held their first ’Eventia on the Road’ regional event at the ICC Birmingham.
Guests enjoyed a cocktail making experience, before being treated to a professional mixology flair show, put on by new Eventia members the ICC, showing delegates how to make creations such as a ’Purple Rain’ and a ’Green Zombie’ in true Tom Cruise style.
Simon Hughes, Eventia chairman, commented: “The ‘Eventia on the Road’ events, are a great way for members and other meetings and event professionals to network with other like-minded people in their own area. We recognise that the meetings and events industry is not just London based, and that to add a further value to our national membership we need to offer education and networking in a variety of locations across the UK.”
Eventia are currently lining up a series of regional events throughout 2013.
