Venues and Events International has announced that its event innovators have become Cvent certified by the Cvent Academy.

The certification allows recipients to demonstrate their knowledge of the Cvent’s software solutions.

Will Dalzell, head of innovations and proposition for Venues and Events International said: “Strengthening our knowledge on using this technology platform allows us to create better experiences for our clients.

“Events as we know and love are changing, and we need to learn to work alongside the pandemic to ensure we keep our clients safe when delivering future events. This certification is expected by some of our clients as it demonstrates our professionalism and help us prepare for the safety of re-opening of larger business events.”

Will Dalzell, Eloise Perry, Olivia Unsworth and Hay Yeung-Tang were the event innovators who completed the training course.

Anita Lowe, CEO of Venues and Events International said: “This has been a challenging year, with the events industry suffering like many others. However, we felt this was an important time for our events team to re-invest their time in valuable training.

“Cvent has been brilliant by offering their training academy free of charge this year. It has helped event professionals across the industry develop their careers during such a difficult and uncertain time. As a business we have certainly valued this opportunity to offer personal development for our teams and we look forward to implementing this knowledge and experience in future events.”
