Event Apprenticeships has announced it will host an educational webinar titled ‘It’s your industry, their future: embracing event apprenticeships’ on 14 September.
The not-for-profit industry initiative, that has been created in partnership with UKEVENTS, aims to drive awareness and development of events industry apprenticeships.
The webinar will highlight the importance of building an apprenticeship programme to drive social mobility, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
It will also explore the benefits of events apprenticeships, as well as the process of recruiting and developing apprentices within organisations.
Commenting on the news, Richard Waddington, founder, Event Apprenticeships, said: “It is important to know, apprenticeships are not just entry level roles, but about career development, onward learning, diversity, and inclusivity – there is an enormous skills gap in our sector, and apprenticeships are a major tool in fixing this in the future.”
Talent acquisition managers, senior directors, team leads as well as training and development managers are encouraged to attend the webinar.
