The Times has released its ‘Best Places to Work 2025’ list and several event agencies have earned a spot.

The annual list, compiled through extensive employee surveys and in-depth workplace assessments, celebrates organisations that go above and beyond to create supportive, inclusive and rewarding environments.

Sleek Events

Full service, experience marketing agency, Sleek Events has been named as one of The Times best ‘small places to work’.

The Times said: “This marketing agency is proudly female-founded and strives for a people-first culture. There are weekly drinks in the Wimbledon office and an annual off-site company event. Flexible working is offered, and colleagues can enjoy fitness benefits via Class Pass. Employees become eligible for private healthcare after a year of service. Other benefits include birthdays off work and early finishes on payday Fridays.”

Posting on LinkedIn, the company expressed their delight at the recognition: “This recognition means the world to us – not just because it’s another award (though we are having quite the streak!), but because it reflects the culture we’ve worked so hard to build together.”

The agency added: “At the heart of Sleek is a people-first mindset. It’s not just something we say – it’s something we live and breathe every day. To have that recognised externally is a real milestone, and one we don’t take for granted.”

Clownfish Events

Clownfish Events has also been named one of the best small places to work and also awarded an industry spotlight award for Best Hospitality Company in the UK (Small).

The Times said: “At event management company Clownfish Events in Chessington, Surrey, the team of 23 is being built around a culture where ambition co-exists with kindness. The firm describes itself as being “obsessed” with wellbeing, with initiatives including funded therapy and coaching, and a “forced lunch” – a 45-minute daily break during which the whole team leave their desks to eat together. Other benefits include volunteering days and work-from-home Fridays.”

Founder, Matt Turner said: “I say this most days… when work is done beautifully, it has the power to change lives. And for most of us, we spend more time at work than anywhere else.”

He added: “So the challenge for employers is enormous… sometimes impossible. This recognition is a reflection of the hard work our little business puts in.”

Principal. Global Events

Full service agency, Principal. Global Events, has also been named as one of the best small places to work.

The Times said: “Women make up 80 per cent of the 35-strong workplace at this London events company. Flexible working is available, and successes and achievements are celebrated with internal awards. A next generation group gives voice to younger members of staff, while the social committee organises activities to strengthen team bonds. Perks include the firm’s monthly wellness initiative as well as annual eye tests, and a full company shutdown over the festive period.”

Posting on LinkedIn, the company said: “This recognition means so much to us because it reflects the experience and feedback of our team – the people at the heart of everything we do. Our approach has always been to bring together exceptional talent, provide the support and space for growth, and build a culture where people feel valued, inspired, and motivated to do their best work.”

Collaborate Global

Creative Experience agency, Collaborate Global has been named one of the best medium places to work.

The Times said: “Collaborate Global has a people-first approach that nurtures its 60 employees. An anonymous feedback platform surveys colleagues twice a year and staff get development days to grow their interests outside work and a paid day off and £125 contribution towards whatever they might be interested in. Health cash plans, 24/7 GP services and counselling are among the benefits. A four-week onboarding scheme caters for new starters, and the office is dog-friendly.”
