The International Corporate Event (ICE) Awards have announced Richard Waddington’s Event Marketing Association (EMA) as a major partner for the inaugural event.
The awards, organisers say, have been created for the international corporate event planner, with entry categories open to European and global corporate teams.
“The EMA embodies our purpose, positioning and reasoning behind creating such a greatly missed recognition event in the industry calendar,” said MD of Red Box Communications Anita Howard, who is marketing the event.
Waddington, who chairs the EMA UK, says his association aspires to become the UK association and voice exclusively for ’in-house’ event planners and marketers.
“Our members work hard in their roles, delivering return and growth for their companies and colleagues in what some would say is an under-valued role. EMA-UK aims to change that and the awards give the pause and applause in a loud and busy sector to do so,” said Waddington.
The awards will take place at the British Museum on 9 July 2015.
Call for entries for the nine categories are now open. Visit: http://www.ice-awards.com
