Ellen Golby appointed Director of Associations at QHotels

Hotel group QHotels has appointed Ellen Golby as its new Director of Associations.
 
Golby has been promoted to the position after four years at QHotels as Director of Sales for a number of its properties. She joined QHotels as an Events Co-ordinator at Stratford Manor.
 
In her new post, Golby has been charged with driving new business across the associations market, as well as continuing to build relationships with existing clients.
 
“Earlier this year we won the BDRC Continental Award for enquiry handling (No1. group) and conference service delivery (VenueVerdict No1. Large Group), which demonstrates that we can offer an accredited four-star service from the point of enquiry, across all of our 21 locations,” says Golby. “This proves we can deliver all the elements that a conference organiser needs to maximise return from their event and that return on spend is so important during challenging economic times, especially in the associations market.”
 
Golby will be responsible for growing the associations business, creating bespoke packages to meet the needs of associations’ conference organisers.
