Bristol venue, EEF Venues Engineers’ House, has launched a new meetings and facility, The Fusion Wing. It represents a £135k investment and is the first big project fuelled by the group’s recently launched ‘Engine Room’ investment fund.

The new wing has been created through the repurposing of existing office and administration space within the venue, to create a facility consisting of seven new meeting and training rooms, conference space, and breakout space. Colour is an overriding theme of the new space, with rooms named after colours e.g. Orange, Purple, Pink, etc.

General manager of Engineers’ House Martyn Bowen described the Fusion Wing launch as “a real gift to our customers”.

“Many of the companies that use us don’t go anywhere else and see Engineers’ House very much as an extension of their own office. For them, this means more options for space when they book, greater flexibility and additional breakout, workshop and soft lounge areas. This investment truly has been about listening to our clients and acting on their requests.”

The launch of the Fusion Wing is the first in a series of new openings and refurbishments taking place across the EEF Venues group. The company recently launched The Engine Room as part of its customer promise to ensure that the group continues to invest in its product and can handle all meeting and events space enquiries from its loyal customer base.

“We want to keep our customer base loyal, and that means making sure we keep our occupancy levels manageable,” commented David Vaughton FIH, Managing Director, EEF Venues. “The Fusion Wing is representative of our desire to put the needs of our customers first and create an amazing experience for them. We can now give them more options and more flexibility on the space they need.”
