The East of England Arena and Events Centre has announced Ryan Moroney (pictured) as its new head of operations. He joins the venue from ExCeL London, where he was head of Venue Service Development.
Moroney will report to the East of England Arena’s general manager, Jason Lunn, and will assume responsibility for leading the venue team and managing all operational procedures across the venue, including maintenance.
“Ryan’s insight into the whole events sector, and how our venue sits within it, impressed us,” said Lunn. “With his ability to take on contractor, organiser and venue perspectives, and his proven leadership skills, I’m confident he’s going to be a valued and important part of our future successes.”
Moroney says he is “very keen to look after such a colourful portfolio, as variety is what drew me towards the industry in the first place.”
