Dundee & Angus Convention Bureau held its Partners Evening at the Landmark Hotel in Dundee. Around 40 bureau partners from conference venues, hotels, unique venues, support services and accommodation providers from across the region attended the event. The evening included a presentation from Neil Brownlee from VisitScotland’s Business Tourism Unit talking about the importance of the association market to Scotland and highlighting the new National Bid fund which will help attract high yield, high spend international conferences linked to Scotland’s areas of expertise in industry, commerce or science and medicine.
Martin Boyle from Congrex UK gave delegates an insight into the association and academic client, understanding their needs and expectations, so destinations can be best prepared to meet these.
