Creative communications group DRPG successfully concluded its Innovation Week, hosted by its dedicated innovation entity, DRPG Labs. The event at DRPG’s Hartlebury studio showcased recent advancements in technology and AI for the events and experiential industry.
Each day of DRPG Labs’ Innovation Week featured interactive sessions allowing attendees exploration of advanced technological experiences within typical event set-ups around the studios. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed and taken through to the experience by robot event guides, followed by demonstrations of Muxwave‘s transparent LED walls that transform visual presentations, and transparent touchscreen solutions enabling product showcases and augmented reality interactions.
Attendees engaged in guided presentations with in-person presenters and real-time, multilingual avatars. The avatar provided detailed vehicle specs, answering delegate questions instantly. DRPG also used camera based analysis with German based partners ‘These Guys’ to track in real time the sentiment of our audience, we were able to, without bias, understand 37 emotions using AI and one camera looking at the audience.
DRPG Labs, launched in 2024, builds upon previous engagements with comms and event professionals, including the DRPG Labs Live series, a touring activation presented at client offices across the UK last summer.
Starting April 15, DRPG Labs will host monthly virtual Innovation Sessions, led by the Innovation and Creative teams, offering clients a chance to explore and apply the demonstrated technologies to real-world industry use cases.
