The DRP Group has teamed up with sports sponsorship specialist SIMS to produce teambuilding and corporate hospitality packages, which at the same time put something back into Paralympic sport.
Guests or delegates have the opportunity to take part in sporting challenges as part of a half or full day event. They receive training from experienced coaches and then work with members of the GB team themselves to compete in sports such as wheel chair basketball or sledge hockey.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to get close to Paralympic sports and work alongside representatives of the GB team,” says Norman Ley Managing Director of SIMS. “We have been working with several sports over the last four years in building opportunities for corporate sponsorship and involvement in the sports but this is something very new.”
Dale Parmenter, MD of the DRP Group said: “This is such a unique event, which is so relevant in this Olympic year. It is the perfect opportunity for corporates to inject their events with the engagement power of one of the greatest sporting events on the planet. Whether a conference, launch or hospitality day, this is so powerful and great fun while, at the same time, putting something back into the sport by supporting our Paralympic athletes.”
