Full service agency drp has continued its growth over the last three months with the expansion of their graphics team. This development has created four new roles within the division; Georgi Chalakov, has joined drp as assistant motion graphics designer, Scott Williams as live designer and operator, Katy McPhee as a motion graphics designer, and Matt Jones, as a 2D graphics designer.
Chalakov will be responsible for the videography within the department, as well as editing videos, managing computer graphics, and being hands on with the technical software.
Williams’ role will primarily focus on providing live digital graphic designed presentations for clients, as well as being an onsite operator for the team. He graduated from Worcester university with BA honours in Graphic Design and Multimedia, and has previously worked on providing a full range of print and digital design solutions for companies such as Honda.
Williams commented “I’m very excited to have this amazing opportunity to work for drp. I’m ever so grateful to be a part of a great team, that I know I will be able to develop, grow and bring my innovative ideas to. I look forward to my future to this new chapter.”
McPhee’s position will entail being able to deliver 2D assets, animations and motion graphics videos.
Jones, who joins drp as a 2D graphics designer, will be working with different divisions in the business, such as comms and events, to help produce printed and digital materials. He has previously worked alongside international fashion brand, Superdry, as a senior designer, working on events such as the Idris Elba collaboration Superdry launch.
