Worcestershire-based creative experience agency drp has announced a record turnover of £21.5m for 2017. The figure compares to the previous year’s £16.4m. Gross profit at the agency has risen to £12m.

The outgoing year at drp saw the acquisition of Windsor-based events and incentive agency Penguins. The agency now boasts 231 team members across four locations.

Last year saw the business employ five apprentices including two event apprentices under the new Event Management Apprenticeship scheme.

“2017 has been a ground-breaking year full of growth for drp. There were 32 award wins, two of which were ‘agency of the year’,” said group CEO, Dale Parmenter.

Parmenter also said the launch of the drpacademy in 2017 was a testament to the ‘anything’s possible’ ethos at the company. “We shall continue to thrive throughout 2018,” he said.
