Downing College, Cambridge, recently attracted 40 meeting bookers from the region to a showcase of its conference and events facilities.
The evening showcase included canapés and drinks and show-rounds by members of the college’s conference team.
Guests saw facilities including the Howard Theatre with its sustainable credentials, the classical-style Hall, the Assembly Room and the hotel-standard en suite bedrooms.
Jacqui Cressey, conference services manager at Downing said: “We were delighted that more than 40 guests came along to our introduction event, all looking for new places to hold their meetings and dinners.
“We received excellent feedback…Our second Gold Award from the Green Tourism is an added benefit to those event organisers who need to meet CSR objectives.”
