DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its seventh London property and 18th UK hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton London – Marble Arch.

The property was unveiled by Ufi Ibrahim, Chief Executive of the British Hospitality Association, and is located in the heart of London, close to Marble Arch station and Oxford Street.

Speaking at the unveiling of the hotel Ibrahim said: “At the BHA we are delighted to see the continued growth of DoubleTree by Hilton throughout the UK, not to mention the expansion of the internationally recognised and respected name of Hilton Worldwide.”

The building was originally a private residence for Lady Black, Lady in Waiting to King George.

Formerly known as the Best Western Premier Mostyn Hotel, the interiors of the 121-bedroom hotel underwent a full renovation in 2011.

“DoubleTree by Hilton is delighted to welcome this historic property to our exciting portfolio of UK hotels,” said Global Head of DoubleTree by Hilton, Rob Palleschi. “With the introduction of hotels like DoubleTree by Hilton London – Marble Arch, the DoubleTree by Hilton brand is becoming synonymous within the UK and around the world with upscale hotel accommodation, and a personalised and welcoming level of service, style and hospitality.”

The hotel offers three meeting rooms and boardrooms, accommodating between 10 and 130 delegates, plus five additional syndicate rooms, each hosting up to eight delegates. Business travellers and conference guests benefit from a complimentary 24-7 business centre, concierge services and up-to-date technology.

Guest rooms at DoubleTree by Hilton London – Marble Arch include flat-screen satellite TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, mini fridge and laptop safe, and the hotel is home to AA3 Rosette winner and Michelin Starred ’Texture’, a modern European restaurant and Champagne bar with Scandinavian influences.
