Virtual production company Distortion Studios has launched its first virtual production hub in Bristol, South-West England.
The virtual production hub consists of 200sqm studios, enabling producers to create original IP using virtual production technology driven by the real-time 3D content creation tool Unreal Engine.
Creative UK funded the initiative in partnership with iMAG Displays to bring the first permanent virtual production studio to Bristol, the current UNESCO city of film.
Currently finishing the first stage of renovation, Distortion Studios will host a series of launch events on 25 and 26 April for potential clients and industry friends, as well as an evening party to celebrate the launch of the virtual production hub.
The events will consist of two-hour blocks over two days, giving visitors the chance to tour the facility, meet the team of experts, and demonstrate the VP stage.
Distortion Studios welcomes local companies and anyone who has helped them along the way to attend.
