Despite in-person events returning, there is still a high demand for hybrid events, according to full-service agency emc3.
“It’s safe to say digital is here to stay,” says Josh King, sales and marketing director, emc3.
“We are experiencing a massive increase in demand for hybrid events,” he adds.
King says this is because clients not only want increased reach, but also increased visibility and accessibility – all of which digital events can provide.
“Lots of our clients have also started to invest in Web 3.0 and the metaverse. We are currently producing VeeCon for Gary Vee featuring Snoop Dogg, Mila Kunis and Steve Aoki, where his NFTs are being used as tickets for the event,” he reveals.
Furthermore, King suggests that sustainability and inclusivity are key drivers for events staying digital.
“It’s great to see how technology is being applied creatively to make events more immersive and engaging. The future is bright for the events industry,” King concludes.
