BH Live has appointed David Christie (pictured) to head its 200-strong hospitality division which provides services at high-profile entertainment, cultural, sporting and event venues across the south of England, including Bournemouth International Centre, Copper Box Arena at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Fairfield Halls in Croydon.
Christie has more than 20 years’ experience in the catering industry and has led hospitality operations with organisations including Sage Gateshead, Costa Coffee and Compass Group. He replaces Alex Robertson in the BH Live role.
“David joins us at a very exciting time, says Pat Coyne, BH Live’s director of venues and events.
“Our hospitality division has grown significantly over the past five years focusing on retail, cafés, bars, fine-dining, street food and high-end event catering. David’s in-depth industry knowledge, skills and experience will take this to the next level in line with our business plan.”
Commenting on his appointment, Christie adds, “I have watched BH Live’s growth in the hospitality sector with interest. I look forward to working with the team, clients, partners and stakeholders to further existing growth, develop the team and build on BH Live’s reputation as an established provider of high-quality hospitality products and services in the event and leisure sectors.”
