Hospitality commercial management solutions provider Thynk has partnered with eventtechgiant Cvent in what is says is an effort to enhance event sales capabilities for hotels and venues.
The collaboration aims to support hospitality sales teams by simplifying operations through new integrations between Thynk and Cvent’s key hotel solutions: Cvent Supplier Network, Smart Custom Proposals, and Cvent Event Diagramming.
Through this partnership, Thynk’s hospitality-focused CRM, built on Salesforce, will connect with Cvent’s group sales and management tools, providing hotel and venue operators with a unified approach to MICE sales. The Cvent Supplier Network allows hotels and venues to showcase their properties, respond to RFPs, and secure MICE business. The Smart Custom Proposals feature offers an efficient solution for creating interactive proposals. Cvent Event Diagramming facilitates collaboration, simplifying event layout creation and supporting real-time interactions between venue staff and planners.
The integration will launch as a pilot by year-end, with Postillion Hotels as the initial client. “We’ve seen positive results in MICE business through Cvent, and this Thynk integration will help us build on that,” said Erik-Jan Ginjaar, managing director at Postillion Hotels. “Both Cvent and Thynk have valued our input, and we’re looking forward to using this new option.”
The joint solution aims to improve MICE management by reducing manual tasks, enhancing lead quality, and speeding up response times, helping sales teams close deals and increase revenue. Key benefits include a configurable commercial platform, streamlined sales operations, and improved consistency across lead management.
“This partnership with Thynk broadens our ability to support hotels in attracting MICE business,” said Jim Abramson (pictured above), Cvent’s vice president of product management. “By working together, we’re providing a connected solution to hospitality professionals that can enhance both sales performance and operational efficiency.”
Thynk’s CEO, Pascal Petit, said: “Our collaboration with Cvent represents a new approach to hospitality sales management. Together, we’re setting practical standards for sales operations in the industry, enabling clients to secure more business and improve results.”
