Cvent, a meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, has partnered with MeetingPackage.
The integration, which is expected to launch later in 2023, will allow Cvent Supplier Network customers to book MeetingPackage hotels and venues globally via the Cvent platform.
Partnership benefits
According to the two companies, the partnership will provide benefits to both sides of the meeting and event sales process.
For example:
• Event planners will be able to source group hotels and venues, manage their events, and “quickly book” meeting spaces and services with hotels or venues leveraging MeetingPackage.
• MeetingPackage hotels and venues will benefit from the “efficiencies and broader reach” of the Cvent Supplier Network.
• Through the MeetingPackage product suite, venues and hotels can manage all their meetings and event sales, as the software integrates with operational software solutions such as Oracle Opera or Amadeus Delphi.
• Small or simple meetings can be automated through the integration, allowing for hotels and venues sales to focus on the larger, more complex events.
Joonas Ahola (pictured left), CEO and founder of MeetingPackage, said: “The subject of process automation and digitisation has really come to the fore as venues realise that manual processes have become unsustainable.
“This integration facilitates greater automation for a more seamless venue sourcing process, ultimately helping both the hotelier and event planner increase group business revenue with minimal effort.”
Jim Abramson (pictured right), vice president of product management, Cvent, added: “We are excited to expand our platform and help form deeper collaboration between meeting planners and hotels and venues.”
