Creativevents has won an early extension mid-way through its initial three year contract with Brooklands Museum. The new five-year contract, worth nearly £5m, sees the food and drink specialist looking after all public catering and on-site hospitality for the museum.

“It was an easy and logical decision to award Creativevents this five-year extension, as they have brought nothing short of a revolution to our catering and hospitality at Brooklands Museum,” says Museum Director, Allan Winn.

“Since taking over we have seen like-for-like sales figures rise beyond out expectations, with public catering up by 49 per cent in the first year and their unique retail experience now delivering an extra £100k from outdoor ’pop-up’ catering at our special events. Hospitality sales in the first 12 months were up 45 per cent and previously lost clients have returned to us,” he added.

Hospitality and Special Events Catering Director at Creativevents, John Uphill, says: “We are thrilled to gain this new extension from Brooklands Museum and we are now working with the Museum to completely refurbish the hospitality suites. This has also given us an opportunity to upgrade the AV facilities, heating and ventilation in the 105-year-old Clubhouse.”

Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey attracts over 130,000 visitors each year, as well as tens of thousands of hospitality, conference and function guests.
